Ongoing PhD Thesis Supervision:

  • Ph.D thesis titled „Rediscovering the Housing and Settlement Pattern of the Chakma and Garo Ethnic Minorities in Bangladesh‟ of De Montfort University, Leicester, UK is in progress under joint supervision of Prof. Dennis Radford; Prof. Q.A. Mowla & Dr. Sahap Cakin.
  • Joint research with Prof. Bruno De Meulder and Prof. Hildeegarde Heynen (KUL), titled „Conflict, Contradictions, Prospects and Gender Aspects of Public Spaces – A Case Study of Dhaka City‟ funded by VLIR-Belgium. at the Department of Architecture, Urbanism & Planning, Katholieke Universiteit (KUL), Belgium is in progress since September‟ 08. The student K. Habib is expected to receive her Ph.D from this research.
  • Ph.D thesis titled „Pattern Identification of Colonial Residential Buildings in Bangladesh‟ of Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Bangladesh in progress under the supervision of Prof. Seema Haq, Dept. of Archaeology, JU and Prof. Q.A. Mowla, Dept. Of Arch., BUET as co-supervisor..
